Well. This is it.
As of today, I'm officially leaving Goldhaven - or planning to, at any rate. It wasn't an easy decision to make. The life of an adventurer is a dangerous one, filled with peril and near-death and countless disaster, but... I have to, I think. It's the only way to find what I need to find, to learn what I need to learn, to bring magic back into the world.
I can't do that staying here. I love my home, but I've already done all I can here. I just hope I won't regret this.
PS. A reminder for the me of tomorrow - remind [illegible] to keep an eye on my garden while I'm gone. It's not a very good garden, but it'd be a shame for it to die all the same. I'd like to have something to come back to, after all.

It's been a while since I wrote, hasn't it? Or it feels that way, at least. A lot has happened since then - but perhaps it's best to start from the beginning.
After we left the cavern with the mirror and those dwarves - those poor things, I wish we could've helped more then we did - we began travelling south towards Blackwood Town.
